President John F. Kennedy stayed in this room while visting Senator Kerr on October 29, 1961.
Rooms #101 - #104 were all remodeled in 2008.
This room was originally half of one big play room designed for the Kerr Grandchildren.
President Gerald R. Ford stayed in this room on October 15, 1991 during his visit to Poteau as guest lecturer for the Jimmy Carter Presidential lecture series.
Rooms #105 & #106 are half of one big playroom for the Kerr Grandchildren. It was designed to look the inside of a ship.

Senator Kerr's Room. Even though it is a large room, it is one of the smallest rooms in the Mansion.

This room honors Lyndon B. Johnson who was a frequent guest of Senator Kerr's.
The Kerr Conference Center has 10 rooms adjacent to the Mansion for additional guest. These all have 2 double beds with private baths.
Wonderful views are available from every room in the Mansion, but rooms #101 - #106 have doors leading out to this large deck.
The Kerr museum adjacent to the mansion is open daily (except Holidays) or by appointment for groups.
We provide a full service set-up for weddings including both outdoor and indoor facilities.
The Kerr Conference Center offers 3 meeting spaces in the Mansion and 1 small room in the Pool House for meeting needs.
The dining room at the Mansion is the perfect place for weddings and receptions.
Kerr is located on a ridge overlooking the Poteau River Valley, providing the perfect backdrop for any wedding photo's.
